Try posting a sample or a link to something that sounds like what you are looking for...

Edit: oops, thought the link was your website

To me it sounds like more sounds are layered in the sample. To make trance leads you mostly start with 2 heavy detuned saw waves. Maybe try using rectifier distortion as saturation and/or distortion. Add loads of reverb and/or delay. Maybe a pinch of noise... Fatten up with unison (play with unison detune)...

Yes i mean more synths (or patches) layered together. You can do this in multi mode on a Virus by assigning the same MIDI channel to more than one part. Anyway i can´t hit the sound either but maybe try turning on oscillator 3 amd detune, add, more noise (play with color) add a little sub osc. and use a low pass filter parallel with a band pass filter and play with cutoff and and cutoff 2 (turn cuttoff link off). Now turn on Arpegiator and find a nice pattern and play with notelength. By listening to the sound it also sounds like something is controled by velocity too so try assigning velocity to cutoff or cutoff 2 in mod matrix...
