I fired up that patch and notice its got a bit of crackle and distortion listening to it through my monitors in stand alone mode, but havent tried it through VC.

I haven't tried the patch on my Snow. But, I noticed this distortion element in some patches too. Especially patches, which I'm dead sure didn't have this distortion.

It could be an OS thing.

There is a pad patch, D+C HS (Not sure of the name, but it's by Howard Scarr) which definitely didn't have distortion last year, lol. I'm running the latest release. It could be the OS update, but I will confirm the details, once this hangover fades away

I experienced the same with a lots of patches of Snow, but it is since i "upgraded" to OS 3.3.5 .More pronounced with VC, but it happens without VC, too. I hope it's because of OS...
