Hah, it's pretty awesome that I didn't put down ANY system details.

My OS is Win XP Home SP3 and the problem I described happens in Cubase 4, Live 7, and Pro Tools 8.

Same problem.. And a very irritating one. Have to revert to 3.0 now..
Cubase SX3, winxp sp3..
