Thanks, that looks like a great case.

I found the SKB case online for $109.99, and I emailed the guys at http://www.foambymail.com for a quote for the foam inserts. Depending on how things shake out I could see myself going with either case.

I really like the SKB cases since the roto-molding results in really solid frames. How's the construction on the THON case that you bought?

the quality of manufacture is exceptional , too solid , it's a heavy product with durable materials , and a comfortable leather handle .
inside the case , polar applies perfect , really very constant case .

Well, after a lot of soul-searching, I decided to go with a totally different option altogether: an SKB mil-spec case. Not only are these things absolutely indestructible and water-proof, but the extra six inches of internal space I will get will allow me to pack my headphones, power and USB cable, and maybe even a foot pedal in with the TI Polar. This one also has a handle and wheels which will come in handy I am sure.

They are a little pricey (the cheapest one I found was $259.99) but seem to be around the same price as the other options I looked at.
