Takes 2 minutes to load everytime, i tried uninstalling and re-installing, same thing, this prolonged loading didn't happen before the last beta and the 2.7.3 updates.

MAC 2x Quad 2.8
OSX 10.5.4
LOGIC 8.02
VIRUS 2.7.3

did you verify that the uninstall removed all the related files (except the *.mid patches)?

dunno, do you have a list of 'all related files' i ran the uninstaller, then searched for all things 'virus' and all things 'access' what do you recommend?

just open a filebrowser and go to the directory where it installs to and where it puts the RTAS plugin to ... have no mac, so i cannot tell in detail.
when you install and then search for * (sorted by date descending) ... it should show the locations.

i just did this again, just for laugh's and giggles, followed your advice, then also went thru all my folders and places for everything that happened after the install time, trashed all those, pretty certain i got everything. Re-installed, re-booted computer, re-booted Logic and TI and got same issues,2 1/2 -3 minute load time, so i dunno, guess thats just the way it's supposed to be.Guess i'll just put the kettle, read some magazines or whatever else you can do in 2-3 minutes and come back ready to work after a bit.

no, it's not the way it's supposed to be (2-3 minutes would be unbearable for the most of us).

use the uninstaller which is located in the same directory where the control center is. then repair permissions, than reboot, than install 2.7.3 then make sure you do an AU scan in logic (trigger it manually if you have to). if that all doesn't help, get in touch with access support.

hth, marc
