just go and buy any USB v1.1 or USB v2.0 PCI Card and use it as dedicated interface for the Virus TI.

different ports (root hub) won't help since you need a second controller in order to gain more bandwidth.

(you may have to go through the all Virus TI driver installation procedure again ...)

PS: on a MAC this definitely could have happened, too!!

I wanted to thank you guys, I went ahead and got a PCI card and I also replaced my mouse and keyboard with basic ones...the ones i had before were for gaming and needed more then average bandwidth...Im so happy that I got it working, thanks again!!!

PS: you still could use your high resolution mouse ...
since your system now should have double the USB bandwidth than before.
