Lightbulb ideas for better handling (copy & paste from another thread)

the problem with the -/+ buttons basically comes from recalled patches,
which show up as RAM-A 0 instead of their initial location ...
due this, once you press program change -/+ ... it's hard to find back.

the cursor keys should act as hot-keys, when browser view is active
(currently you always have to select a patch with the mouse, before the cursor keys will work again).

the soft knobs should highlight the white LED in the Access icon on their stored (default) value.
also when editing with Virus Control, it should highlight that LED ...
plus an indicator for default value on the GUI would be great.

Default Response to replies on my thread

Thanks for the info its given some idea of how good Access is in terms of operating systems updates.

I still have not got a response on what it would take in terms of dsps and programming to enable one multi part to use other multi parts lfos and envelopes etc. Would it require a new Virus with more dsps and cost a lot more money.

I feel a little restricted by some of the Virus TI's architecture - I've dabbled with the Clavia Nord G" demo, but the thought of full on modular synthesis is a massive step - That's why I think Access could a least consider the idea of making the Virus semi - modular as it's on its way to be being partly semi modular and it has such a great and user friendly interface. I'm sure there would be a market for such a product.

How many other Access Virus users woudl like more lfo and envelopes?

It would be nice if Access themselves respond to my thread.

100% agree with more envelopes and lfos, if they were there I would use them. Thats not to say I feel particularly restricted without them, but they would certainly be welcome, particularly with the addition of new osc models where there is more you might want to independently modulate. That said, I wouldnt want to sacrifice direct useablility of the hardware for them.

I have communicated to access the concept of allowing patches within a multi to be able to cross route modulations. The reality is you are about the only other person to ever mention something similar that I have seen - I wonder how many of us actually use it standalone in multi mode too?

Default Ideas to Access Virus TI

Thanks Kazul for your reply. As your obviously someone who is interested in digging deeper into the Access Virus - judging by your qusetion to Access on intergrating multi mode part pararmeters - how is it that you say that you do not feel restricted by the Access Virus. By the way what did you mean by -

particularly with the addition of new osc models where there is more you might want to independently modulate. That said, I wouldnt want to sacrifice direct useablility of the hardware for them.

Two shorts questions to anyone who can answer - can you send/input one multi part to another multi part? Eg you create a sound on one multi part and input into another multi part that has been set up to create a sound effect.

Plus, I know you can get external sounds and run them through the Access Virus TI's effects ect - what equipement would I need to do this.
