Man's nature is violent although it would be fun if mankind would plummet down to the core of extreme spontaneuous natural violence where violence serves a function.
Don't like your newborn baby? No more abortions for a relief of fundamentalists - It's chow time! No cooking required. Your parents are getting sick and old? The freezer was getting empty anyways. Your co-worker's girlfriend is hot? Kill the bastard man and spread your seeds! When the Christian conservative buttholes, Muslim fundamentalist poopheads and the rest of the secondary people on Earth finally make a big war I'll move to space... the final frontier. I haven't thought up yet what I'm going to do there, but I'm certain it's something cool.
