I started a master's prgram in public administration, specializing in finance and accounting. I'm putting in 17.5 more years with the state government so I can watch my kids grow up as I'll only be working 40 hours a week instead of 60 like my last job. I'll have a pension that can't be raided by fuck-jobs like Kenneth Lay as I am a civil servant. I'll have inexpensive, good quality, long-term health insurance until I die (my luck I'll die before retirement!). And then, I'll go and be a consultant and make a shitload of cash, hopefully. Did I mention I'll be poor the whole time because the state government pays really low salaries?

I really like the program though. I might study to be an actuary when I'm done with the master's degree. Look at
