ya I was about to ask how the automation was made cause i use logic so its either I record automation live or with midi cc on the arrange but then I have to look at a chart.
I'm sure theres other ways but i'm not that so knowledgeable

Very nice song indeed. Sounds really fresh and open. I never get the sounds to work together. How did you mix it?

Well the only effect i used is a limiter to avoid saturation .
Since I've only got one midi cable for now, I wrote the automation with my mouse, but the easiest way is to do it with the virus knobs I guess.
I wish the virus had drum maps so i could only use 1 channel for all the drum sounds like the nova or the nordrack.!

Hi

Not a bad tune mate, sounds very electro to me, not techno but each to their own.

LIKES : the bassline is nice and feels like a disco basline which is groovy.
Your sounds fit well together, and u have some nice ideas, especially in transitions and moving from part to part.

DISLIKES : seemd a little too long. But i think this was because not much changed, you need to add variety and perhaps more breaks, build ups/downs, more depth with multiple basslines, mellodies etc. ALthough there are a few different mellodies in there but it all seems a little "thin".,

I think its a great little tune, one some great ideas, maybe more drums to fill up the tune a bit and maybe more effetcs, i hardly noticed any.

I think the arrangement is good as well as your transitions, they are smooth and join up well.

keep em comin

SM
