I'll be home with Ausa & Nova.. A good friend will come over later and we'll eat dinner, have a few beers and just go outside around 12-ish to see the fireworks

Having a bash here with family and friends.
Wife went out to the sales yesterday with both the kids ( who also wanted to spend their Christmas money) and so I was left home alone with the TI ALL friggin day - what a pain that was.

sounds like my kind of new year. My wife wants to go out and party at a nice club. If it was up to me I would go to a dive bar with a karaoke machine!!

Karaoke is great! My brother got a cheap karaokemixer (that acctually worked great!) this christmas so we sang old classic songs after we had abit too much to drink.
Hopefully we'll have an calm and nice evening.. we're getting fireworks tomorrow! Yay!

Having a Hogmany party in true scottish style, invited family, banned friends (after a six day drinking session there is far too much amunition to let them near my family) told everyone else in street about it so thinking my new house will be trashed soon Since it was her idea I some have gotten her to agree to tidy up and cook new year dinner
Also bought sing star for playstation which should liven things up as the night goes on.
Cheers

No kilts the things cost like £600 get pished and dribble to much and it's off to the cleaners if not out to buy a new one. Hogmany is the traditional name here for it, but in reality it has came down to opening your front door and having a party, anyone who goes past can drop in (within reason, yung neds tend to get a swift kick up the arse, unless with the parent/preferably the mom) It turns out to be a big party by the end of the night.
Other options are the big street parties but I find them cold and generally crap as most folk go home by 00:30, personally I like to go for as long as anyone is willing to drink with me(not got to 303's stage of getting in to a drunken stupor on my own)
The only bad thing is the hangover that follows on the day you have people over for dinner (which I must say is high quality steak pie, if you haven't had that then you don't know what you're missing)
Have a good one
Cheers
Kris
