I can't really comment on those to be honest as I haven't actually used them. The Algorythms used in the VSS3 are from their flagship reverb unit so they are going to be hard to beat.
I use the Powercore with TC Verbs & also own a Lexicon MPX1 which is routed via SPDIF into my set up, pretty much like using software. They do sound different & was why I bought the Lexicon, especially as this has the Lex chip which is dedicated to reverbs. Not sure what to advise really, just go with what you feel I guess
