I have done that. I guess I'd like to take the easy approach. I like the sounds of the metredome/mechinical sounding loops. And this way I can mix it up from the root-notes with-out a prob. I don't like having to re-record the midi-tracks when it doesn't sound perfect. This way it IS perfect.
