Khazul, Local is for the keys only, I think. You can still twist the knobs when Local is off and is connected to VC, just like you can on the desktop, only difference is with Local off, when you play a key on the keyboard it plays via the selected MIDI channel in the VST host.
Dr Orange, I would. I think any problems like this should be reported. Personally, when I close SX3, my TI returns to its normal state, Local is turned on and there are no hangovers from being linked to VC, such as the Sample rate being locked like you report. I am running a P4 2.8GHz (HT), ACPI, XP professional (sp2), with Asus mobo, RME HDSP 9632, Virus TI keyboard with 1.09 installed. Drammy
