Yeh - Im with you on the drawing thing, but I do like to be able to record automations and have the option to tweak some odd bit somewhere (maybe in the note data) and not have to go and do the whole auto sequence again

I even treat guitars like this - record wet and dry audio + midi automation to the guityar processor so i can change my mind about stuff without having to record the original guitar bit again (cos it takes me bloody ages to get it right)
