It seems that we wont the same thing. You are right - no CC are being sent, as we are to us the Sequensers non-midi based automation instead.

And probably your controller is not usable in this way.

Im used to editing CC/controllers and simply like it more then Cubase Read & Write automation. And the other thing is that Cutoff is the only parameter that is already assigned as default, wich makes you have to assign a whole list of parameters before beginning - or doing it along the song when you suddenly want to automate a certain parameter. Its just extra wasted time for me.

So for people like us there should be an option to choose CC & midi based automation instead
