If there is to be a TI MKII in the next couple of years....then I think it will be rock solid. Sure, the new TI has a few teething problems....but when one considers the amount of programming involved it should come as no suprise. Unfortunately for me I cannot afford the TI now.....argh ive gone to hell and back figuring out ways I could afford it. My student loan just wont stretch that far. Im just going to set aside little bits of money here and there so that I CAN afford the MKII if when it materializes...

As it stands right now....the TI does represent an incredibly powerful and versatile standalone synth...I feel people sometimes loose sight of that issue especially when there are no other hardware synths on the market which can do anoywhere near as much as the TI can.

Its ironic...that despite my bitching of the virus (from time to time) its still the only VA synth id feel comfortable owning. Its high quality build, good UI and complexity still appeals to me. I think its important to own a number of synths...that way you can use the Virus on its strengths.

The SynthWizard has some advice - Back in the 1980's music was better, TV was better, films were better. Not to mention fashion.... Let me help you relive the past with some classic 80's sounds from my vintage synth collection....
