To find this option in a VC press the "System/edit" button, then press your parameter right button until you find "KnobMode".
It's really handy for either programming or performing the Virus. You can have data jump to the value of the actual knob position, or have the knob not respond until it reaches the saved location. Not sure if it's on the B series, but I'd say it would be.
