I know, some people shell out for a top class synth like a Virus and then punish it as though it's some second hand groove box. Whenever I get stuff off Ebay now I ask them about the condition of the knobs, are there any that are loose e.t.c. Some guys just use the cutoff knob on their synths.

they are rather useless in the studio but for performing the sequencing engine of a groove box could be very usful.

ok i will at least testify to it seqeuncing capabilities, if you can be bothered with roland's rediculous menu systems.
