Tascam have been in the game for some time, and have made some cool things, like their range of Multi tracks
But their reputation was with bringing about afordable gear, and this is where they mostly are now. Affordable, which is a dangerous word, sometimes means that you dont get the best quality....but dont rule out Tascam altogether. They still make some cool stuff..... Just do some research, and try to buy the very best you can afford
