done
i bought a 120Go maxtor hard disk and mounted the new m/b and the XP 3000+proc. It is running at FSB 400Mhz, in phase with the 512 kingston RAM....and right now things are still ok, i didn't try recording audio yet to compare the cpu speed, but as far as general windows and internet use go, it is quite fast! no regrets, and i hope i won't be disappointed.... i'll keep future amd users informed
