I own the RackXL, because of the same reasons as you, I had my own keyboard, and the rack version is cheaper!!!! Same with the desktop version......it is the exact same except without keys!!! If you are fluent in MIDI there should be no dramas getting the desktop, the only thing is, those Ti keyboards look so damn sexy!!!! Good luck!! Jason
