Welcome Sleepwalker,

I've had my virus for just over 6 months & I am still learning every day. If you want to get a head start download the programming analog synth manual from the virus-music.de website & read that thing until you know it like the back of you hand. Along with reading the owners manual this is the best advice that I was given. Sound design is an art in itself which requires years of practice. Anyone can manipulate someone elses sounds, butt to come up with a sound in your head & make it a reality is one of those things that makes this life worth living. Enjoy Oh yea don't be afraid to ask questions, cause there will be many especially when you start getting into sources & destinations. I still have trouble sometimes trying to anticipate what effect this amount will have on this destination. For making those growling bass lines, there is no comparison. Then run it thru an Emu & use all its effects. That's how the I do it. Whole new world.
