I have a feeling this might have to do with your programming of the oscillators. Sometimes you have for instance a bass patch, and it sounds wonderfully fat on the F2 say, but then you go up or down an octave and it sounds dull or thin. I would suggest you try experimenting with different combinations of Octaves between the oscillators, pulsewidth, and the different waveforms and how you stack them together.
The fullness of a sound has a lot to do with how you combine waveforms, and how they behave when you go up semitones. Sometimes their phases can cancel a bit, sometimes add up... so if I am correct in my suggestion to you, you will find that this problem doesnt occur if you have only one single oscillator playing, but when you add 2 together that dont comlplement each other across the octaves.
