Default How does he get this bass sound?

Hey guys just been looking at this vid Alix Perez on you tube and wondered how he got this bass sound out of the virus. Im not so bothered about getting the exact sound just something similar with the same sort of movement so i can make some of my own.

I guess his initial sound is quite hollow so sine or square waves maybe? Then lfo2 to filter 1.. Then lfo3 to filter 2 to get the movement?

heres the link bass @6.27 then opens the filter out a little later.

cheers Jamie

He gives the most important clues about the bass sound ...use Hard distortion on a tone which is NOT a sub wave sound...but a square or saw wave with a lot of low pass filtering...he practically served this one on your plate!

Yup iv tried to have a go at it think it has more to do with oscillator tunning/combination settings not just the distortion settings thier easy to apply. By all means have a go for your self and post results
