Default XLR8A - BassTech

Hello ladies and gentleman,
I would like to represent to you one of my recent works that includes
some use of my Virus synth innit. This picture was painted with hardware only,
no softsynths were used and no animals were killed while creating this work.

Soundclick link:

I'd like to hear any feedback about this work, and constructive criticism is always welcomed.

Peace.

Nice....something different! (ie not trance)

Awesome! I like this track....hard, nasty drum n bass...

Good intro, breakdown, and build...little breaks/changes keeping interest.

Oooh...nice change there, where things kinda go half pace (bassline change)

Nice one mate! Keep em comin'

jasedee,
thnks for your feedback man !

The fast bassline that enters at 02:50 is made on virus,
and the groovy unquantized wobble sound that starts at
04:37 and progresses at 05:09 is infected by same nasty virus.

Dude, I love this!

Great beginning.

What a great change at 1:35.

This is very imaginative and fun to listen to.

It's cool how the little melody remains through all the harder stuff up to 2:40ish

...Sounds like the thoughts of a man on a mission up to 4:29 then chills out for a few seconds and back on again with a slightly different tone...COOL!

By 5:55 it is chilling out, but steady with a new interesting line...GOOD!

6:38 Good high rhythm drum break!

7:00 winding down and one very satisfied listener here at 7:17.

Great work!!!

As Jase said, it's nice to hear some other styles other than trance being put up on this board.

Like the track. Lot's of changes to keep the listener going and some cool sounds through-out. Specially liked the section from about the 2 minute mark with that chuffing bass.

Drums - I like the drums for sure. Sometimes i may have liked a few more layers to beef them up a little though. The high end was really cool. Like the little bingo style hits that pop up now and again too.

Bass - In general I liked the bass, but it was hard to judge the production with the headphones I was using. If anything I might have liked a little more kick in the bass end, but like i said "hard to judge".

Synths - All pretty cool. Lots of variety and lots of obvious work gone into them.

All in all a cool track.

And no, I don't think I caught the hidden vocal.
