Default Flugas Nungas Tchukas!!!

Yo Man! That's right...I'm getting the "thing"...

I've made my two "first patches"...It's just amazing...I never thought that someday I would make something by myself on virus..uhuuuu!!!

But now...more questions:

What is PW? For what I use it?

And the assigns on the three oscilators?

And what occurs with the waves when I put SYNC turned on? (I know, they get syncronized, but how?)

THANKSSSSSSSSSS!!!

PW = pulse width, in a pulse (or square wave as they call it) the pw will change the distance of the middle line, making one square bigger than the other on either side. PWM is when you put an lfo to that value

One thing that has always puzzled me is:

If I set a modulation matrix up so that LFO1 is modulating pulse width (just an example) and I change the matrix so that it no longer modulates Pulse Width.

What setting is pulse width now at? Is it at the setting last modulated by the LFO or does it reset back to its setting according to the pulse width parameter?

I haven't really played with the modulation matrix that much, I guess it would be easy to test but its just something that occus to me from time to time.

Default Flangus Nangus Tangus

Okay, but the PW parameter that I can set, only will make effect when I choose a Pulse Wave in one of the three oscilators?

You can only use pulse-width on the pulse (square) oscillator waveform. Pulse-width doesn't work with the Saw or Sine/selectable waveforms.

And about this question:

"What occurs with the waves when I put SYNC turned on? (I know, they get syncronized, but how?)"

I want to know what really happens with the wave, just to know what I'm doing when I turn sync on...

ANOTHER Detail: On Virus C/Indigo 2/KC How can I hear ONLY the Oscilator 3? And what is the "Sturation" on the OSC VOL Knob?

correction, on the virus it sort of does. becauseon the virus, in classic waveform mode, it's not just pure sine, wave or pulse, it's them at the extremes with a blend in between. i saw this while playing with VC. so in theory, as long as it was a semi blend between saw and pulse, you could still modify the pulse width. also for that matter you could do the same for between saw and sine.
