i know it was developed to be used exclusively with the TI, but is it possible to use the software for a Virus C?

Letrec is right. The TI has completly different hardware and twice the DSP power of a C. The user interface isn´t ready for it anyway with it´s new fuctions, bigger LCD display and USB port. No way could you run the software on a Virus C...

Are you talking about the OS or the Virus control software? The Virus is a standalone hardware synth (not just a controller). The OS is the software on the synth itself (this goes for all VA synths). The Virus control is only a control software that allows you to use the Virus as a VSTi... Anyway you can´t use either. The Virus control software is written for the TI and the C doesn´t have a USB port for comunicating with Virus control. There are however other options for controling the Virus C like a VSTi over MIDI out there. Someone posted a link not long ago...

Sorry man, all the brains in the world wouldn't get it to work. The architectural differences are simply too great... it would be like trying to get windows XP running on a 286 processor (16-bit chip).
