Default New Expression - electronic

This piece is the result of me trying to widen the influences on my music. It is an experiment to see whether an old dog can learn new tricks, or, in other words, whether I can write something that doesn't sound like Depeche Mode or anything else written in 1984.

Hope you like it. The lead is played on my Virus using a home-made sound. The rest is played on AAS Ultra Analog, Sylenth 1, Wusikstation 5, and Jamstix 2.

Since I've never done anything even slightly like this, it was a bit of shot in the dark, so I'd really like to hear what you have to say about it.

That is good! It is well balanced and nicely melodic. The choice of instruments and tones is good, too. I particularly like the use of the piano. It does remind me of Depeche Mode, though.

Thanks

It occurred to me that I've been creating synth music since the early 80s and this is the first time I've ever used a piano sound . . .
