Default Panic!! Virus Ti Wont Install At All!!

Hello everyone, I'm in a bit of a panic.

Have had my TI desktop for sometime and been quite happy with it.

Tonight I have tried to install the new os 3.0. This is what I did.

Went into control panel, add/remove programs and removed the TI software suite and the TI drivers.

Restarted my computer. Ran new installation. When it got to the bit saying "connect TI usb now" i did this but nothing happened and eventually it said "TI not found" error 5.

I tried loading up the control centre but that said scanning for devices but couldnt find it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling again but same thing. I tried swapping the usb port. I tried holding down exit then connecting power, then running virus control centre but still nothing. However when I did this, Windows detects new hardware device and installs virus midi drivers. Then tries to install virus ti but comes back not found.

Anyway, I put all this down to the new buggy os so I uninstalled it all again and went to reinstall the 2.7.3 os. BUT the same thing is happening again. Its just not detecting the TI is connected at all.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

well check in device manager and see if the ti is still there in usb. if it is then remove it.
and maybe change to a different usb port as well.
