Yeah notice it says Preliminary on the cover of the manual. I smehow knew this would happen. This is just like the video and then the presets file. The funny thing is, Access' site makes no mention of the manual anywhere except in the downloads section of the TI. I wonder if it's close to being release or is this just an attempt to tide over.

I'm just glad Access listen to the things we write in this forum and respond whenever they can.

Of course they are not going to be drawn into a release date discussion as they don't know when it will be finished. Thats just the way it is. I'll bet this time last year the OS programming geeks were promising it would be finished by August '04 or some shit. Those programming geeks always promise the world to get the contract and then make it drag out for months and months overdue so they can keep charging their hundreds of dollars an hour for being geeks.

Its like their way of getting revenge on the world for becoming 26 year old virgins I think

My distributor has told me "The manual will be shipped to the pre-order customers shortly. In a brave move, Access has left a few pages blank - this way, when the uses figure the unknown sections out they can fill it in. Trouble shooting should not be left up to just the company after all!"

I'm starting to feel my distributor is just taking the piss.

I don't know. If the manual was to tide everyone over you'd think they would have announced it on the frontpage rather than people finding it on chance. Unless maybe they're ready to make announcemnet and are prepping by putting a manual up. The fact that they didn't link to it anywhere....maybe......or do I have my denial mojo working.

Hmm, novamusik changed they're thing:

Access Virus TI ETA Update...word from inside Access is: "some software components of the ti are currently in beta test access expects to ship shortly"..

And the ETA is now June on the site.

*shrug* who knows.

Ah, nice one mate. I have it binded to a hot key now so I can simply paste it over every forum with gimps quoteing disties dates and on IRC to people who say 'I HEARD FROM A SOURCE CLOSE TO ACCESS THEY WILL BE SHIPPING ON BLAH BLAH DATE'

Dude, cam down. I have bought a ton of synths from novamusik and they've always been honest with me and I know people that work there. Who cares that I posted what nova said. I just noticed they changed it, so I thought I'd let people know because they are my source and my only one. It's been a long time since I posted a date change, so don't jump on me about it. I know it won't be official until Access announces it on their site, but who knows, dealers may hear first. After all Access still has Dec 2004 as the date on their site and they make no mention of the manual anywhere, it doesn't seem like they're updating the site at all. Besides dealers would know before customer because theyre the ones buying the synths and selling them.....yeah and I'm not a retard so shush. This forum is caled expected TI release date, so why shouldn't I post an update on eta....what's the point of this forum otherwise? It's not like there's a ton of other things to talk about right now, so.....

Oh and by the way musiciansfriend had the TI listed as an eta of October.

Though, my point is your like the 20th person to come here posting shit from disties or websites and every single one of those dates has fallen through and to be honest we are all getting a little tired of it.

Access are the ONLY ones who know and they will post it to the website when its shipping EXACTLY the same as they have done with previous releases.

Disties do NOT know more than we do, they probably know less because they dont really give a shit when it comes in. Everyone here is eager as fuck to know and we have access employees posting here regularly who im sure will let us know as soon as they can, and of course they will know before anyone else.

Everyone here knows disties just want the sales and so will post anything and say anything to customers weather its fact or not to get them. None of us care what novamusik has to say about shipping, they have got it wrong probably the most out of anyone so no we dont want to know, thanks anyway
