Dude you have to tweak!

play around with the different parameters until you get the sound you like.

IT might take a long time you may think that you know exactly what sound your going to get but if you are creating a sound on a synth like the virus its just a matter of putting the time in and tweaking!

The effect the distotion produces is going to based a lot on the osc and filter settings which are in turn affected by amp env and filter env settings etc etc.

I found most of the new distortions to be quite 'fuzzy' eg like a fuzz distortion and I'm liking the result I get by using them in combination with the new speaker simulation. just play around with them and you will sooner or later arrive at a point you like. Dont forget that you can add a further 'drive' to distorted effects on the virus with the filter saturation section!
