I am listening to the track as I type.

Hoho, I wish - my arm is really sour now. I spent 2.5 hours in the chair and we are only about 30-40% done, next more week. It's an insane tattoo; Little Twin Stars with full colors and background. It's a really childish tattoo but i love it, it's so different from everything else and we are planning of filling the other side of the arm with more colors and odd figures.

new age rocker,arent you?
Negative! I've just got a tattoo-intrest and now when i've found a great place I'll be colorized in no time at all probably. My whole back will get a tattoo soon, we are planning that aswell.

Alright back to buisness; First of all, it has a very prodigy-isch type of sound as the other work from you guys. I like the distorted lead aswell as the beat that seems to be flowing really well with everything, but I don't know (it's probably just mine phones that are abit fucked) I'd like to get a much more 'boomy' kick. Think 'Poison', I'd say that would really get a really nice touch to it. Dirty and heavy kickdrum with crisp clear hihats/snares and the variation on the beat is excellent as usual.

I like the 'juno'-girl vocal sound but if it was my song i'd be trying to play around with it abit more; Space-echo (eq + delay - dub-isch type of delay).

I'd love to hear the distorted lead go into a sort of frenzy, screaming away and getting the track to be even more 'crazy'.

Overall, great track indeed but some minor 'flaws' that could easily be fixed and you got yourself a recorddeal with the right recordcompany.

How's that for a small review?

Hey thanks for the feedback guys!

That's exactly the sort of feedback we're after.

Like I said Jason has about 90 tracks of mine to mutilate. He has been putting deadlines on himself to finish a track a week. He stops pretty much dead on one week, mixes down (doesn't wavelab or edit) and then converts to MP3 so we can get opinons.

It's feedback like this that will help us when we start to finalize the tracks.

Thanks again.

Thanks for listening Merlot!

About that pad. Is it a personal or a production problem?

Time sig: We always have Cubase setup in 4/4, but that doesn't mean we always stick to it. Cubase is used more as a multitrack recorder with us and if we break out of the original beats/bars setup it's no big deal.

Thanks again for taking the time to listen Merlot. Appriciate it.

The pad is just a personal thing! It's a dark song then all of a sudden the happy pad comes in. To my ears it doesn't sound right. Dont get me wrong, i dig the song and all but. . . . . .
