Nope, not much damage done but apprently we could have no electricity for up to 4 weeks

HC, you're such a typical Aussie - always thinking about barbeys!

DS,

The wiring columns went up in flames. Thing is we could smell that electrical "singey" smell about 2 hours earlier and did nothing about it - we just assumed that someone as smoking somewhere they shouldn't.

Then the power went off and everyone just started having a laugh until the smell got worse... Then some one went to check it out and suddenly found flames so one of went to grab a fire extinguisher and called th fire brigade. Thing is the fire alarms never even went off!

Yep, I'll still get paid. I work from a laptop anyway so do a lot of work from home but things is I am so far ahead with my projects that I can afford to kick back and get infected.
