Default Soft Knob trouble

Hey people,
I have run into a problem with my TI Snow.

I want to record midi from twisting the soft knobs in one of my projects. However, it seems that my soft knobs are not sending midi.

I started to dig into this, and it seems that they do send midi, but only when the unit is in single mode.

When I load the virus into my cubase sx3 project, it is put in Sequencer mode and in that mode, it doesn't seem to send any midi from any of my 5 available knobs at all (3 soft and cutoff, res).

Is there a setting I have to be aware of in SX or in the Snow?

When it is loaded from the VST bay, I do not have the Target setting in the soft knob menu available (the one where you should set "Internal + Midi")... so my best guess is that it is something that I have to change elsewhere.

Can anyone help me out here?

Ok, I sort of "solved" it.
I use the VST instrument part of the TI to automate the knobs, although this temporarily solves the problem, it will most likely come back to bite me in the a$$.

Since I only have 4 parts to do with, I want to have everything in midi so that I can bounce the midi track to an audiotrack and store the miditrack for later use if I need to change something. I guess I can't do this if I have to work with the virus as a "real" VST instrument, unless the soft knobs themselves have a CC number.

I can of course hook the Snow up as a normal midi driven synth, but then I lose the control software.

The basic question seems to be:
Is there any way I can hook up my Snow so that I:
1) Can still use the control software in Cubase.
2) Can record automation from the 5 buttons on the Snow to midi.

Does anyone know if there is a list of midi CC's for the TI? I had one for my Indigo2, but haven't seen one for the TI.

soft-knobs are always just representative for other knobs, that do have CC.

so when you automate that CC: you automate the parameter that is assigned to the soft-knob.

(as you wrote) VirusControl supports automation soft-knobs (but only via VST automation).

it's for TI Desktop, but should be the same, i think:
