Unhappy RTAS VC Arps still all over the place

Despite the latest OS upgrade the arps are still about as stable as Brittney Spears using the RTAS version of VC in pro tools LE 7.4 & 8. They drift, they hiccup, the timing is all over the place & there are glitches & pops if you let it run for more than 30 secs.
Is anyone else having any luck with the RTAS version? I'm pretty sure it's not my system as I have none of the problems with the VST version in Live 6, which is not supported strangely enough.

Hey Berni,

Would you be able to create a simple test session and email it to me? I can run my TI with Pro Tools M-Powered 8 on PC.

I'm on a Mac so I'm not sure it would work, but it's easy to re-create.
Create a new session with an instrument track with the VC plug-in on it. Record or pencil in a note that lasts a minute or so. You dont even have to load a patch just use the INIT tone and hit the arp on button then press play in pro tools & listen carefully. If you record the audio you can see the irregularities in the waveforms.

Can anybody with a similar set up confirm or deny this problem? See previous post to re-create. It happens even if I roll back to 2.7.5! My set up,
Powermac G5 dual 2ghz, 5gb ram, OSX leopard, Pro tools LE8. Would be good to find out if its my setup or VC.
