Default Use "normal" midi cables with the TI?

Hi,

i got my TI Snow working with USB and the VC30300 software.
All the USB outputs and 1+2 output are working fine.

Now i want to connect the Snow as a "normal" midi synth using midi cables.

I have got the midi in2/out2 of my RME Fireface400 connected to the midi input of my Virus Ti Snow.
My masterkeyboard is connected to the midi in1 of my RME.
Audio output 1+2 connected to my active speakerset (or output-left to my headphones).

I use Cubase 4 as sequencer.
The red bar light up in the transportpanel when i press a key on the master keyboard.so there is midi in.

the midi channel meter showing activity when i press a key, so the channel receives midi.

the green bar lights up in the transportpanel when i press a key on the master keyboard, so there is midi out.

But the TI wont receive any midi...
normaly a music note will appear in the right corner of the display (when using the VC software as vst plugin with usb) but when i use normal midi cables, nothing happends.

What kind of settings do i have to make in the snow?
thank you

Why have you made another post about this topic?

Have you tried unplugging the USB cable, then starting Cubase?
