HC on form in this thread.

Jacko certainly did not invent pop music ffs and this oupouring of grief for a bloke who loved children a bit too much is bizarre.

And as morbidly fascinating as his life was, let's watch as his relatives all get litigious.

But.. I can remember him when he was 13. What a voice. Thriller was a fucking awesome record. Man. I met my first wife on a dancefloor with that on.

With all the world at his command he then disappeared up his own arsehole. Happened to my favourite Motowner Marvin too.

RIP Michael. I'll remember you for the great things.

My feeling is that he was a supremely talented lunatic. Do I lament at his passing? Not for a second. I see a photo of demented, white African-American, holding a white baby from a hotel window (Point = Baby, his or not?) that remained in his care after the event!! Too much benefit of the doubt, for my liking! (>_<)

His music is classic, and yet when I hear it, I do not consider the man who sang the songs, as they have transcended him. Should I be hearing those songs more often now that he is dead? Nope. Should we honour his influence on the music industry? We already had, years ago, with the purchase of LP after LP when we found his material worthy.

The news: Please, replace the Wacko Jacko focus with some study on the demographics of western troops serving in foreign wars zones, I would be interested in that. Perhaps a report describing the differences between the mentality of cultures of those that follow monotheistic religious doctrine and those that follow polytheistic religious doctrine, and the affect on solidarity? LOLZ! (^_^)

ADMIN. Sticky please

Anyone that can spell polytheistic deserves a gold fucking sticky as far as I'm concerned.

I am fucking moved by that above.

MJ was merely a tryst between himself and himself.

A dichotomy of self and perceived self.

Interesting! Further to your idea; he's the perfect example of why we should not follow false idols. He is a self styled idol, with numerous iterations, a simulacra who forgot who he was. What a pity

I only judge him as an artist, that's what he was to us.
Anything else is hearsay, and nothing to do with me.

Now that's not entirely true, is it Talos, dude?

This is what started the current analysis, and while you're clearly entitled to your genuine feelings, so too, are we. While hearsay is not something you can trust (hence your heart felt mourning will consist of mostly what you want to believe), photographic proof of insanity is.

Cheers, Hollowcell. There is much confusion for some people in a situation such as this, as much of what they think is projected from their subconscious (and very natural) human drives. Unfortunately, while this chap's music was special, he was no human deity, and should be thought of no longer. Those that mourn his loss are projecting a mild requirement for something beyond themselves, in a metaphysical sense. Music is important to the human mind, so a fellow like MJ is a prime target upon whom to project a request for 'guidance'. Much like Dirty Diana, when she died in Paris, our last, best hope for innocence died with her... at least, for a couple of months.... lolz (^_^)

This projection of perceived personal involvement in Jackson's life and, ultimately his, death by so many self-proclaimed minions fills me with a desire to laugh.

Still. The bald, child molesting tosspot could dance. Carnt argue with that.
