Also, what about the distortion sounding different from the C to the TI? There was a guy who mentioned that about a fortnight ago... Not sure if he ever followed it up.

i dunno, but the ti distortions... all the models sounds pretty damn good

esp the rectifier and the bit rate reducer

same also in the Virus TI, since
the Virus TI's sound engine is based on the former Virus models and
offers the "classic" Virus
oscillator for instance. This "classic" oscillator is the oscillator
you find in the Virus c for instance.

Quite a bunch of new presets in the Virus TI use the Wavetable and
Hypersaw oscillators, but there
are also a lot of presets included which contain the original "classic"
Virus oscillator. Also the effects
of the Virus TI are based on the former Virus models, so also they
sound the same, just that the
Virus TI offers way more effects like separated delays and reverbs per
PART.
