I guess so - once things have settled down a bit, I'll give it some more thought.

but *how* much longer?
your soundset might be close to finished ben, but how do we really know the TI is just as close?
im still waiting - but surely access can give us more info than 'a little longer'?

Where you heard that?
Within 18 months? I don't think that's gonna happen...the life cycle of the virus products are usually much greater! And if it's the case, they better have some trade in plan for those loyal fanboys(all of us that have preordered so far should be considered fanboys more than customers lol)

DS

Ok, why have SS given the Ti like 75% for each category? Have they had a TI to review??? Seems a bit weird that on the other models the Virus gets 100% for most categories but all the Ti ones are 75%....its practically the same synth. Unfortunately those scores do influence buyers....Access should look into that.

DS
those reviews were exclusively made by people who never had a TI to review or just test run. they were just assumptions and therefore pretty useless.

Sorry Marc....i should have used the word 'admission'....

Yes I agree, the early reviews were pointless.....particularly the 75% nonesense for each category....

DS...but still, I believe that Marc NEVER stated that another Virus will be released within 18 months(it would most definately be a mistake from them). I'm sure they will prove the world that USB1 was the way to go.
They have to anyway

FWIW - I've just been putting the finishing touches to my bank of 128 sounds, all of which use the new oscillators exclusively, and have been fully optimised to make use of the 3 soft knobs. For me, they represent the best of my work to date.
its stuff like this that keeps me from cancelling my order. i like imagining that the extra time being spent on the virus is making sure its amazing when its release, and not just trying to make it work.

oh btw ben, if you wanted to explain on the forum what one of those 128 sound like each day, it will give us nearly 5 months of drool material to keep up entertained if it doesn't happen to come out before then........ wishful thinking
