Default BROWN VIRUS TI2?! & Warranty!!

Hi..
A friend of mine is going to sell me a Virus TI2 to for 2/3 of the price.. It´s almost not used. But it´s brown? Not the same color as the orginal? he says
it is very few of them (looks like poo) and that access changed the colour..

is this true? is it safe for me to buy?
also, whats the thing about warranty? I got warranty even though its bought from a shop that is not on the access virus site?

thanks..

Never mind the color, do you really want to buy something with that many JPEG artifacts?
