I hope they'll arrive soon cos I have to start recording the album for my band in a few days... and I have some more works too. I'm happy to hear they sound good cos I haven't had the possibility to try them but I used a lot a pair of 141 and they sound good, so I hope that the k271 even if they're closed and so very different will make me happy.

I bought a pair of k271 last year and love them. They really isolate the sound well (almost too well. I often can't even hear the bloody phone or doorbell!), and they aren't fatiguing to the ears. I can use them for hours if I'm sensible.

A nice feature is that as soon as you take them off your ears the headphones switch off, so you get no "spill" into the room. You also get a nice long, detachable cable (with mini-XLR on the headphones side, and a gold plated 3.5mm jack [and 1/4" converter] on the other end), too.
