Hi erolz.

The difference in the sound is due to his camcorder, or the way he recorded it. It definitely sounds like it's been compressed (which is why the reverb sounds immense). You can't do that using the Virus on its own.
There's also no low frequencies, they've been EQd out (I presume to make his voice more intelligible, but this treatment affected the sound of the Virus too), over and above the EQ used in the Virus itself.

His sounds a lot more up front and in-yer-face purely due to the external compression and EQing. I tried emulating his patch and it was very similar (apart from the compression and EQing).

I'll have a go at listening to it later, but unfortunately I don't have a TI/Snow. I'm using a Virus B. My Virus doesn't have 3-band EQ, etc.
