Default Absynth 3 - what do you think?

Just got to have a go on Absynth 3 last night and was quite suprised with the sound - it can do some very interesting stuff and the sound quality is very good too IMO - what do you guys think to it?

I had a look at the trial version and I'm thinking about buying it because the sound is amazing. Had just some orientation problems but I think after a while I'll get used to it.

I agree, it sounds spot on. I was really suprised with what came out of it and that was running alongside my Microwave XT! It's quite a strange hybrid synth. People wonder if some softsynths are up to hardware standard in terms of sound quality and this is I reakon is.

I've been using absynth since version 1, and it's my favorite synth for other-wordly atmospheres, or ever-morphing BPM stuff. The people who question software haven't tried the right software (a virus is digital, after all). Other softies to check out: Zebra (if you're on a mac), Albino, MOTU's MX4, most of the NI stuff, I could go on for a while...

His Filterscape bundle is also nice....
His stuff is incredibly solid and CPU efficient, everyone on a Mac should check it out (I think Filterscape is available for PC, as well).
