Yeh - it seems to do the rounds about every 6 months...
Nick... I wouldnt dismisss it as just DnB/Jungle - yeh - it has been done to death by them, but the concept of breaks works well in house as well. DnB influenced house seems to be on the up at the moment - so time to dig out the amen / funky drummer influenced breaks and abuse them  They can work really nice filtered/valved over the usual 4 to the floor kick.
