I don't think it takes any CPU. It has loads of improvements like a dedicated delay/reverb for every track plus the huge polyphony.

It just looks like a C, with a couple of fancy features....is there any new developments with sound etc??? Sorry, I dont know too much about this, and the specs dont make much sense to me :?
It's quite hard to say anything about the specs at this point. We'll just have to wait for the complete specs sheet to appear on the Access' site.

Im not getting too excited here....only becuase I already have a Virus, and to get a new one would not be smart. I would rather something vintage or something crazy like Juho's V-Synth
When this TI hits the market sell your C and get the TI.

Edit: By the way Roland makes the V-synth, not me.

I'm still hearing conflicting reports and I still don't see it on the Access page.

On one board they have even mentioned how the Gearjunkie site was hacked!

I'm still waiting for the official word on the thing.

Mmm, it does seem to be spreading like wild fire doesn't it. Well, if it is a hoax, i take my hat off to the people involved.

But.....I'll play it safe and wait for it officialy on the Access page. While I'm waiting though, anybody wanna buy a VC? hehe

EDIT: Taking a look at this picture http://www.gearjunkies.com/product_gallery.php?id=2254 certainly makes it seem more real! 8O

Wavetable OSCs hey!? Thinking music please.....

Hollowcell, didn't you see the WHOIS search results I posted? virus-ti.com is owned by access-music.de. Why would they register that domain name if this whole thing was a lie?

[random]
Oh, and the thread name should read "3 New Virii...."

I'm (as always) skeptical fo the latest synths news if it breaks in forums and spin-off sites rather than the official company sites themselves. I guess that comes from making so many hoaxes myslef. Hehehe.

So no has answered my last question - Anyone wanna buy a VC?

I would get it on ebay quick sharp mate.....as soon as word spreads that a new virus is in town, demand for 2nd hand virus c and b will plummet and so will the price you can sell one for.
