Compare reverb of Virus and Supernova. There's the answer.

80-note poly would go down well, though. You could start to use the Virus as a serious "workstation"-type VA synth in the context, with numerous multi-timbral layered unison pads, leads - you name it - all together. All you'd need now was an onboard sequencer.
Yup. It's possible. It just costs. I think with dual DSP system there could be nice improvements.

>Whether or not that spec is Jay's fantasy, it certainly sounds like the

It just would be weird to not release the news on the official page. I still believe it's hoax...

Edit: Plus the specs just seem too good to be true.

Oh yeah baby! It's real alright

So, how many people here are going to sell his/her kidney to get this puppy?

I think I am - I can live with one kidney, plus one of them is acting up anyway

The VIRUS TI Line is comprised of three different models which all share the same technology inside for identical soft specifications. Products are expected to ship in December 2004.
This is going to be the best Christmas ever!

Damn! It's really horrible to have this stage of GAS without money.

If there will be a workstation with that VST integration, we could have a perfect studio set. GAAAAH! Money!

Now all sing along:

Money, get away.
Get a good job with good pay and you?re okay.
Money, it?s a gas.
Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash.
New car, caviar, four star daydream,
Think I?ll buy me a football team.

Money, get back.
I?m all right jack keep your hands off of my stack.
Money, it?s a hit.
Don?t give me that do goody good bullshit.
I?m in the high-fidelity first class traveling set
And I think I need a lear jet.

Money, it?s a crime.
Share it fairly but don?t take a slice of my pie.
Money, so they say
Is the root of all evil today.
But if you ask for a raise it?s no surprise that they?re
Giving none away.

How much better is this thing than the C series??????

I mean, all I can really see that would be worthwhile is S/PDIF I/O. Using the Virus as a plug in VSTi, will this be powered by the Virus or will it chew up PCU resources?

It just looks like a C, with a couple of fancy features....is there any new developments with sound etc??? Sorry, I dont know too much about this, and the specs dont make much sense to me

Im not getting too excited here....only becuase I already have a Virus, and to get a new one would not be smart. I would rather something vintage or something crazy like Juho's V-Synth
