Default Cubase metronome click missing - SOLVED

This is gonna seem silly, but when I use the Virus tutorial project in Cubase, I can't get my metronome click to sound, even though it's sounding OK in my other projects. I've checked all the settings in the metronome dialogue, and I am stuck. Does anyone have an explanation?

For some reason, it might be disabled. Go to the Devices menu and choose VST Connections. Then click on the Output tab and click on the column for Click.

That sorted it - never even noticed that parameter for the outputs before. Thanks a lot, HY!
