Default Multitimbral Use in your DAW

So I know my snow has 4 parts, I have messed with it using it outboard but wondering how to use it effectively in a DAW. Can someone give an example of how they use multitimbral in their DAW, I don't play live so talking strictly in production

I usually only use a few patches at a time, primarily to keep each patch on its own output and I can mix it more in-depth. There are times where I have, for example, a couple lead patches that layer just fine together and I can just send them both out the same output.
