Took me ages to figure out how multi channel my snow in ableton.
I'm a virus newb.

I re sampled the resulting bass to get a more ripping sound.

I used about 10 different movements/bass phrases to make up a massline, which was then reprocessed using another 3 split.

Very happy with the result.

New Virus user here, can't seem to download your start patch, downloads as a midi file. Anyone else have this problem?
Made the bass in this clip w/ the virus but that was with loads of resampling and modulating. http://soundcloud.com/big-chocolate/sic-666-virus-power
Would love to learn how to make a solid virus reese without resampling.
